FOXY BROWN GETTING ADJUSTED TO LIFE IN JAIL

Foxy Brown doing alright despite one year sentence.

Rapper Foxy Brown was sentenced to a year behind bars earlier this month for violating the terms of her probation. The rapper recently said in a released statement, “This is just a temporary situation. I made my bed and have no problem lying in it. My will is steady. What doesn’t kill me will only make me stronger. I think there are greater injustices in America that require our immediate attention, like what’s going on in Jena, Louisiana. I will not surrender, I’m fine, free Jena Six!”

Brown was referring to the six Louisiana high school students who were initially charged with attempted murder for beating up a white classmate. The rapper will have to serve eight months before she can apply for parole.

“Well it’s funny I told my pastor this Sunday that it’s amazing that I’m still in one piece and able to keep my sanity but I came for again, a very strong family unit. I have great supporters and they know me. They know my heart. I believe that God knows my heart and that I’m a very good person. I mean people may mistakes all the time. i’m not perfect.”

Brooklyn’s Don Diva is due out on November 20th on Koch Records.

Brown, who is not pregnant, is still facing battery charges in Florida for allegedly throwing glue and spitting on the owner of a beauty supply store.
