Rapper Foxy Brown will face assault charges on July 17th for allegedly punching and kicking two employees at the Bloomie Nail Salon in New York City in August 2004, after they allegedly refused to let her leave the salon over a monetary dispute Brown, who rejected a plea deal, is facing misdemeanor charges of assault, attempted assault, and harassment. Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Gerald Harris has issued orders of protection for the two manicurists that Brown allegedly assaulted. |
According to the two alleged victims, Myoung Yi and Sun Ji Song, Brown began to physically assault them on August 27th, 2004 after she got a pedicure, but was denied a manicure because the shop was closing. The conflict turned physical when the two workers attempted to stop the rapper from leaving the salon and later from getting into her car. Brown allegedly struck one employee multiple times in the face and body with a cell phone and also hit the manager of the salon. |
