FORMER CHINGY BODYGUARD KILLS TWO BEFORE COMMITTING SUICIDE

Chingy’s former bodyguard Michael Cannon, 34, shot and killed his girlfriend and their seven year-old son before turning the gun on himself last Thursday (January 5th). Tthe couple had been together for 12 years but according to family and friends, the past two weeks had been difficult for the couple.

Cannon shot and killed his 34 year-old girlfriend Kim Charleston and their seven year-old song Michael Cannon Jr. in their apartment in suburban St. Louis. Cannon then allegedly turned the gun on himself and took his own life. The bodies were found when Charleston family called the police because they hadn’t heard from her since 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Police discovered the bodies in the apartment at 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening.

Charleston sister, Jamie Charleston, told the St. Louis Post Dispatch, “It was like he snapped and lost his mind.”
