EVA LONGORIA GOES FROM GUCCI TO GUNS

Sexy Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is putting down her Gucci bag and packing a pistol in her break-out big screen role in The Sentinel. Even though she’s the youngest of four sisters, playing with the big boys Michael Douglas and Keifer Sutherland was a natural for the Texas tomboy.

Eva plays rookie agent Jill Marin who teams up with Sutherland when a plot to kill the President is revealed. She says the film has lots of twists and turns.

“I love being on a testosterone driven set! This character is more like me personally. I’m definitely a tomboy and I shoot guns. I’m from Texas. I grew up with my dad hunting so I think I fit right in on a set like this.”

Next Eva turns to comedy in the animated feature Foodfight about products that come alive in the grocery store when the lights go out.rn

“It starts off with the camaraderie with the Secret Service and once we find out that there’s a plot to kill the President within the Secret Service everyone suspects. So that’s where everything goes awry and the movie is the investigative process and there are a lot of red herrings and subplots and there’s a love story. It’s kind of a political action thriller.”
