ER STARS FILL FILM DIGGERS

There was definitely an ER presence on the set of Diggers featuring Nurse Abby Lockhart Maura Tierney as Paul Rudd’s sister and Ron Eldard ‘Ray’ Shepard as his womanizing best friend who takes up with Tierney in the film.

Writer and star Ken Marino and Paul observed a few other famous ER alumni who came to visit.

“There was wasn’t there. Well you had Eldard, Maura. Who else? Maura and Eldard. Who else? Well George Clooney was hanging out. Clooney was always around and Noah Wyle was the craft service guy which was kind of crazy. Yeah that was weird. Great little sandwiches. He did make really good sandwiches. No they just do that on TV. In real life they’re just actors and craft service in Noah Wyle’s case. Noah Wyle of craft service. Although he would make those little sandwiches and then he would give each one of them as a name like a medical condition, yeah it was funny. Here, who wants rickets?”

Diggers opens Friday in theaters.
