En Vogue’s original line-up of Dawn Robinson, Terry Ellis, Maxine Jones and Cindy Herron is back together and working on a new album. The group’s original members’ last project was 1992’s Funky Divas. Robinson left the group in 1997 before the completion of their third album, EV3. The three remaining members forged on and released another album, Masterpiece Theater, in 2000. |
Following that project, Jones left the group and Herron and Ellis attempted to keep the show on the road by using standing-ins and even temporarily adding a new member Rhona Bennett. The Bennett, Ellis and Herron line-up released an album, Soul Flower, in 2004. |
“Well we’re in the planning stages right now. You know we’re gonna just kinda pull it together. Hopefully it’s gonna be a part of, a mixture of what’s happenning now currently in the music and we’re gonna keep that En Vogue sound going to so.” |
