EMINEM SHOOTS NEW VIDEO
Lady Gaga led all nominees for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with 13, but also prominent were Eminem and Thirty Seconds To Mars, who said they always look … |
Earlier this month, Eminem shot a clip for his new single, “When I’m Gone,” in Detroit with video director Anthony Mandler. The song is the first single from the rapper’s greatest-hits set, Curtain Call, which will be released on December 6th. Eminem, who completed a stint in rehab earlier this year for a sleeping pill dependency, drew on that experience while filming the video for “When I’m Gone.” |
MTV.com reports that the video opens in a Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with a man standing at a podium speaking to a group of people about his personal journey. After his short speech, he invites people in the audience to share and Eminem steps up. He introduces himself as Marshall and the song begins with video mirroring the song’s lyrics. |
In addition to “When I’m Gone,” Curtain Call will features another new song as well as some of the rapper’s classic cuts including: “Stan,” “My Name Is,” “The Way I Am,” and “Lose Yourself.” |
