EMINEM SCORES HIS FOURTH CONSECUTIVE NUMBER ONE ALBUM
Eminem’s greatest hits set, Curtain Call, debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week after selling more than 441,000 copies its first week in stores. The album is the rapper’s fourth consecutive Number One debut. Eminem’s sophomore album, The Marshall Mathers LP, debuted at Number One after selling a million copies its first week out in 2000. The rapper’s Encore also landed at Number One after selling a million copies its first week out in 2002. Eminem’s 2004 release, Encore, also debuted at Number One after selling more than 770,000 copies its first week in stores. |
As for his future plans, Eminem recently said, “I’m at a point in my life right now where I feel like I don’t know where my career is going. This is the reason that we called it Curtain Call, because this could be the final thing. We don’t know.” |
