EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE TO JAM WITH MARY J BLIGE AND LUDACRIS AT GRAMMYS

Earth, Wind and Fire to perform with Ludacris and Mary J. Blige at the Grammy Awards.

On Sunday night February 11th, the recording industry’s biggest stars will convene in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards. This year’s performers include: T.I., James Blunt, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, John Mayer, Corinne Bailey Rae, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gnarls Barkley, and Dixie Chicks.

Mary J. Blige and Ludacris are also slated to perform during the show and they will be joined by Earth Wind, & Fire. While visiting the Grammy Style Lounge, Earth, Wind & Fire shared what it was like to still be involved with the Grammy Awards after all of these years. Phillip Bailey and Maurice White said,

“And so it’s an extreme treat for us now after all these years to still be a part of it and on the level that we are. You know we’re performing on Sunday night. And when we got the call, needless to say we were all very excited about it. It’s the biggest night in the industry which goes without saying. And we’re very excited to be a part of it. And our particular performance will be with Mary J Blige and Ludacris.”

Some of the presenters scheduled to hit the stage during the show include: Ciara, Mandy Moore, Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, Common, Rihanna, Terrence Howard, Samuel L. Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, Luke Wilson, Reba McEntire, Natalie Cole, Pink, and legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach.

The 49th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
