DYLAN MCDERMOTT TERRIFIED BY CROWS
Dylan McDermott was scared by the crows during the attack scenes in The Messengers. |
The Practice star Dylan McDermott stars in The Messengers, the number one movie of the weekend playing a Chicago businessman who moves his family to a sunflower farm in secluded North Dakota. Their idyllic life turns into a nightmare when the farmhouse is intruded by not so friendly ghosts. |
Dylan says what creeped him out most about the movie was the Alfred Hitchcock moment fending off hundreds of birds. |
“In this movie the scariest thing for me were the crows. I had a scene with crows for two days straight and just the blackness of their eyes and their beaks and how big they were and they were attacking me for two days straight. For me that was the scariest time of the movie.” |
Sex and The City star John Corbett who plays the farm’s field hand didn’t get along with the crows and had to use a bird double for the attack scenes but Dylan had better luck with the ravens. |
“I don’t know about bonding with them but I did certainly spent a lot of time with them. No I didn’t get pecked. Maybe he was sort of swatting at them more than I was but they were pretty alright with me.” |
Apparently the audience was up for a good scare as The Messengers earned 14.7 million dollars it’s opening weekend. |
