DUSTIN HOFFMAN IS WILL FERRELL FAN

Dustin Hoffman plays the eccentric professor Dr. Jules Hilbert who tries to help Will Ferrell with his bewildering dilemma and fight for his life when he hears a novelist inside his head trying to bump him off in Strange Than Fiction. Dustin became a huge Will Ferrell fan and thinks he’s got the dramatic chops to match his comedic talents.

Dustin says the film is about living in the moment and not letting life pass you by before it’s too late.

“I think that they’re gonna see that he’s an actor. That he can make you laugh as an actor. They’re gonna say, ‘Will you can do it all. You won’t have to take your pants off again.”

Stranger Than Fiction opens Friday in theaters.

“And if the other part is closer to the generation that you realize you spent too much of your life not living in the now and that can be over 30 you realize why didn’t I do more. Am I gonna wind up with a New York City phone book woulda shoulda, couldas. This movie dictates or tries to demonstrate that you could live more in the now than you think you can.”
