DISTURBIA MOVES INTO NUMBER ONE

Knight Rider, the popular ’80s car advernture show, returns with KITT and the torch passed from one Michael to the next one.

The Hitchcockian thriller Disturbia starring Shia LaBeouf as a suburban kid under house arrest who discovers a grisly murderer living right next door has surpassed Blades of Glory earning 23 million dollars at the box office.

When all the comforts of home are taken away from him Shia’s character Kale picks up a set of binoculars to entertain himself.

“His I tunes start going away. His Xbox 360 Live is going away, things he used to enjoy and thought would help him through it are now gone and he’s having to deal with himself which is not what he wants to do.”

In the film Shia teams up with his cute next door neighbor played by newcomer Sarah Roemer and his best friend played by Aaron Yoo who use state of the art technology to catch the killer.

“Kids are on it, you know. You Tube and my space have revolutionized communication for kids. You know it’s funny they always said cell phones would bring people closer together. It really brings you further away because some people prefer to text message than have a conversation. And Kale is growing up in the middle of that change.”

Shia has had some week. The 20 year-old hosted Saturday Night Live, and after rampant rumors confirmed he will star in the next Indiana Jones film as Harrison Ford’s son.
