DISTURBED SETS ACTIVE ROCK RECORD
Disturbed has set an Active Rock airplay record with “Inside The Fire,” and guitarist Dan Donegan talks about the effort. |
Disturbed recently wrapped up their stint on the Mayhem Festival, and it was their first tour in support of the new album, Indestructible. Their single “Inside The Fire” recently broke Active Rock radio’s record for 14 weeks at Number One. |
Guitarist Dan Donegan talked about the song. |
“I just think that it was one of those songs that kind of grabbed a lot of our friends that we would play it for early on. It kind of grabbed their attention. It was one of the more memorable tracks that you really couldn’t get out of your head after you heard it for the first time. We thought it would be a nice lead-off track for us. And plus just the concept behind the song and the meaning that it had lyrically and how personal it was for David because it was a life experience for him. It’s an important subject matter, and we wanted to come out strong with it making a statement.” |
With the song still going strong at both Active Rock and Alternative Rock, Disturbed has readied the album’s title track, “Indestructible,” which was the third most added at Active Rock this week.rn |
