DISTURBED GOES PLATINUM
Disturbed’s latest album has been certified platinum for sales of one million copies as certified the the Recording Industry Association of America or R.I.A.A. For the band it’s their third consecutive platinum album. |
Disturbed’s David Draiman talked about the mindset of the band while making and recording Ten Thousand Fists. |
“There wasn’t a specific mindset. We just set out to write the best songs that we possibly could. It’s not like there was any conscientious effort to steer them in one particular direction. We all seem to be angrier this record, we all seem to be a little more… We’re obviously better at playing our own respective instruments at this point, having been a band now for…oh god since August of ’96, quite a while and have been playing all our lives in respective bands outside of Disturbed. So, we’re just honing our art and continuing to develop it and continuing to allow it to grow. That’s hopefully what each record will do.” |
Disturbed is currently on the Jagermeister tour, which curently has four Los Angeles area appearances; two in L.A. and two in Anaheim. The tour runs through January and February, and the band will head to Europe in March. |
