DISTURBED GET RESPECT, STYLE FOR GRAMMYS
Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan and vocalist David Draiman took time out to visit the Grammy Style studio to get some swag for their big night. The band was finally nominated for a Grammy in the Hard Rock category after being shut out most of the decade. |
We asked Dan and David if they found anything at the Style Studio. |
“A couple of watches I got. That’s about it for me.” [Donegan] “Moreso for the wife, for me.” |
We also asked them about finally getting some Grammy respect. |
“It’s still very surreal. We’re very, very honored. Very honored, very humbled to be in such powerful company.” |
And who would they have picked besides themselves? |
“I guess if I had to choose… It’s really hard to say. From a heart perspective, I’d probably have to go with Priest. From an educated perspective, as far as what I know the songs did, I would have to say “Saints Of Los Angeles” probably. [Donegan] “I thought it was a good song, good hook to it.” |
Disturbed lost out to The Mars Volta in the Best Hard Rock Performance category. Others not selected include Judas Priest, Motley Crue, and Rob Zombie. |
