Disturbed’s debut album The Sickness, has now topped the four million mark in the United States, which is good enough for quadruple platinum status as certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. |
“Stupify,” “Voices,” and “Down With the Sickness” were some of the lead tracks on the release, which was released in March 7 of 2000. Disturbed is possibly the biggest hard-rock/metal band spawned in this decade. The band mixes metal and hard rock, and we asked him about the fans they were able to reach starting with The Sickness. |
“Metal is a lifestyle, and once it’s in your blood you’re a fan for life. We’re just… I don’t really second guess what it is we do. We just do it for ourselves, and we roll with it, and like I said, I’m just very fortunate that we have a fanbase that has connected with it.” |
Disturbed is going strong with their new album, Indestructible, which debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 album chart in June. |
