Disturbed are almost finished with the first leg of their Music as a Weapon Tour with Stone Sour, Nonpoint and Flyleaf. |
Lead singer David Draiman talked about being spoiled by playing larger venues on Ozzfest, and after touring smaller venues in support of their latest release ‘Ten Thousand Fists’ Disturbed excited to get back to performing in front of larger audiences. |
“We got spoiled from Ozzfest. You’re playing in front of crowds like that and then you want to play in small rooms because it’s safe or intimate or you’re doing something special. We spent the whole first cycle making it intimate and now it’s time to blow it up.” |
The first leg of the Music as a Weapon 2006 Tour will extend until December 22, 2006 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Look for Disturbed and the rest of the bands on the tour to take a few weeks off for the holidays before announcing a new leg of dates for 2007. |
