DIPLOMATS WORKING ON GROUP PROJECT
Harlem-based rap collective the Diplomats will be heading into the studio to work on a group project in the coming weeks. The set will be the latest in the group’s Diplomatic Immunity series. The group’s last release was 2004’s Diplomatic Immunity 2 which was the follow-up to the group’s 2003 debut, Diplomatic Immunity, which was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies. |
The group, which is made up of Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zeekey, J.R. Writer, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, and Jha Jha, has been busy in recent months working on solo projects and mixtapes. |
“Diplomatic Immunity Volume 2, shout out to my man Killa. That’s like going to be so classical. They waiting for that I already know. I can’t even talk about that. Once we lock in on that studio, me, Jim and Killa and start working on that, that’s gonna be trouble.” |
