DIDDY AND MARK ECKO MIX CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE
Sean “Diddy” Combs and Mark Ecko have hooked up to produce the soundtrack and in game music for Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure videogame. Diddy co-produced four new songs for the game including an exclusive version of Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya” remixed by System of a Down’s DJ Serj, PackFM’s “Clik, Clak, and Spray,” Pharoahe Monch’s “Book of Judges,” and Talib Kweli and Rakim’s “Getting Up Anthem: Part 1.” |
Diddy, who also licensed music from RJD2, The RZA and DJ Nature for the project, added, “When Marc first presented this opportunity to me last year, I was blown away by the passion and depth of his script and knew that we could do something groundbreaking with the music. While the use of original tracks as narrative tools are quite common in film, this project has raised the bar for the future of in-game music.” |
Diddy is also working on a new album which he hopes to release next February. |
