Singer songwriter Ne-Yo came up empty at the Grammy Awards but he’s back with a new single…..

Grammy nominated singer songwriter Ne-Yo is putting the finishing touches on his untitled sophomore solo album for Def Jam Records which he plans to release in April. The singer recently released the set’s first single, “Because of You.” In addition to his new album, Ne-Yo has been busy writing songs for comeback albums by Whitney Houston and Britney Spears.

While visiting the Grammy Style Lounge over the weekend, Ne-Yo shared some of the new designers whose clothing he appreciated. The singer said,

“Um I’m trying to remember all of the names. Wait I have cards, wait that’s not the card, she has the card. I have the card. Here we go, Ted Baker of London. I really, really, really like their stuff. There’s another one that I just…I’m sorry. Tashaun what was the name of the last people that we just look at? Moods of Norway. Ted Baker and Moods of Norway, I really like those two.”

Although he came away empty on Sunday night after receiving two Grammy nominations, Ne-Yo has received great reviews for his role in the teen dance movie, Stomp the Yard, which was the Number One movie in America for two weeks earlier this year.

Ne-Yo’s debut album, In My Own Words, sold over 1.5 million copies.
