Parlae of Dem Franchize Boyz has rejoined the group for the Up Close & Personal tour which kicked off last Thursday, August 17th, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The rapper, who was arrested during a drug raid on an Atlanta recording studio on June 13th, has been cleared to travel. He was unable to perform with the group at the BET Awards Pre-Show in June because of travel restrictions. |
Parlae was released on $100,000 bail and a plea hearing which was scheduled for July 24th has been postponed to later this month. The rapper and Making Big Moves Records CEO Anthony Blalock were two of the eight people arrested at the Making Money studio, where police recovered 11 pounds of marijuana, $150,000 in cash, two handguns, and some pornographic materials. |

Parlae explained that the group has benefited from the Virgin Records promotional push while Universal Records failed to promote their 2004 debut album and hit single, White Tee. The rapper said, |
