DEM FRANCHIZE BOYZ MAKE TOP FIVE DEBUT

Atlanta-based quartet Dem Franchize Boyz released their sophomore album, On Top Of Our Game, last Tuesday, and this week the set debuted at Number Five on the Billboard 200 album chart after selling more than 106,000 copies its first week in stores. The group’s 2004 self-titled debut peaked at Number 106 on the chart.

Dem Franchize Boyz have big plans for the year including branding their DFB logo. Group members Pimpin and Buddie said,

“We got to start early man cause this our year. We fittin’ to ride this whole year, man. We trying to brand it, man, DFB. You gonna see DFB everywhere. Everywhere, man, by December ya’ll gonna get tired of seeing our face.”

The album features guest appearances by Three 6 Mafia, Trey Songz, U.G.K., Jim Jones, Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, and Da Brat.

The latest single from the project is “Lean With It, Rock With It.”
