DEM FRANCHIZE BOYZ HAVE BEEF WITH D4L
Dem Franchize Boyz have accused fellow Atlanta group D4L of stealing their style and their dance steps. Both group’s stake claim to being pioneers of Atlanta’s new snap music movement which is often referred to as geek music and both group’s are on the cusp as their latest hits have propelled them to national stardom. |
D4L’s manager Johnny Cabbell told Allhiphop.com, “We have no beef with Dem Franchize Boyz or with any other group. We understand, however, that sometimes when acts have nothing positive to talk about in their careers, they resort to criticizing other acts that they feel are more successful. I think that’s the case here.” |
In the past members of D4L have referred to the Dem Franchize Boyz as Dem Franchize kids in prints. In addition, the members have also accused D4L of stealing their dance steps. |
