DEM FRANCHIZE BOYS PREP NEW ALBUM

Fat Joe will release his new album in September, and he’s also trying to release it independently. Keywords: Scott Storch, Big D., Cool and Dre, All Or Nothing.

Atlanta-based rap quartet Dem Franchize Boyz will release their new album, On Top Of The Game, on February 7th. The first single is “Lean With It, Rock With It” which is also the name of the group’s new dance step. The group is also still enjoying the success of their last hit, “Oh I Think They Like Me (Remix)” which hit Number One on the Billboard rap charts.

The group is signed to Jermaine Dupri’s SoSo Def label, which is distributed by Virgin Records, but the super producer only contributed one song to their new album. Group member Jizzal Man explained,

“Yeah it’s a hundred percent us. That’s what’s going to throw everybody of when the album come out cause they gonna think J.D. put this album together. When this all us. We got in house production. Parlae and Pimpin making the tracks, the hit makers. All our singles come from them, you know what I’m sayin’, so everything is everything. ”

On Top Of The Game features guest appearances by UGK, Jermaine Dupri, and Jim Jones.
