The album alsos feature guest appearances and collaborations with Chris Brown, Jim Jones, UGK, Cool & Dre, and Nitti. |
Banner hasn’t released a project since 2005’s Certified because he’s been focusing his efforts on launching an acting career and raising funds for Hurricane Katrina victims. The rapper shared that he raised over $500,000 for Katrina victims in Mississippi. He said, |
“Honestly most of my efforts went to the coast of Mississippi and the reason is because if you look at it for what really happenned, the eye of the storm actually hit the coast of Mississippi. And being that most of the efforts as far as TV was concerned was visually on New Orleans, you know what I’m sayin, Mississippi didn’t get nothing. And one thing I want everybody to understand about the coast of Mississippi, it’s gone. It’s not like the buildings are still there and its flooded. Past ChristiAnne, Bay St. Louis, these places are totally been bulldozed off. I raised a half a million dollars and the efforts that we talking about, we almost talking about a billion dollar effort. That’s like a drop in the bucket.” |
Banner is currently on the Rock The Bells tour, which also features Rage Against The Machine, Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Nas, and others. |
