DANE COOK CASTS UNLUCKY LOVE SPELL

Dane Cook gets an unlucky hex put on him in Good Luck Chuck, causing every woman he meets to fall in love with the next guy.

During an innocent game of spin the bottle a 10 year-old puts a hex on the boy who refuses to go through seven minutes in heaven with her in Good Luck Chuck.

When he grows up, Chuck, played by Dane Cook starts to realize that maybe the hex has taken control of him as every woman he dates winds up marrying the man after him. Dane says he’s had a couple of hexes put on him by exes.

“Every ex that I’ve ever had. They all look at me as I go out the door and they throw the fingers at me. You will never be happy Dane, never. Then lightning comes up and it comes to me like Luke Skywalker at the end of Jedi and I yell, ‘father,’ and then I wake up in an alleyway with bloody underwear on. I don’t know. It’s just the same rigor morale with every girl.”

Dane who is shy in real life spent the 36 days of the film simulating a sex act each day which becomes a montage of Dane and his female co-stars in various embarrassing poses.

“This rumor goes around that I’m a charm, I’m a good luck charm. At first you think that’s fantastic, no strings attached and get to kind of play the field with no after affects. But Charlie starts to learn he’s never gonna meet his true love as long as whatever this thing is inhabits his life.”

Enter Jessica Alba, the lovable klutz who ultimately breaks the spell and winds up with Chuck. Good Luck Chuck is currently playing in theaters.
