Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley may have a few more awards to add to his Grammy collection with six nominations at this years 25th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards. |
Marley is nominated for Recording Artist of the Year, Best Song for his single “Jamrock,” Best Album/CD “Welcome to Jamrock,” Best Music Video, Songwriter of the Year and the Bob Marley Award for Entertainer of the Year. |
The International Reggae and World Music Awards honor the best in reggae, dancehall and world beat music around the world. Nominees are selected by experts in the reggae and world music industry and winners are voted upon by the general public. |
Marley, who recently finished a European tour, is expected to perform at the award show being held May 6 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. You can vote for this years nominees at http://www.internationalmusicawards.com/, all ballots must be in by April 6. |
