CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR GROWS UP
Cute Is What We Aim For released their new album Rotation, and the band, especially Shaant underwent an image change. |
Cute Is What We Aim For has grown up since the release of their debut album The Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch. The band has released their new record, Rotation, which debuted at Number 21 on the Billboard 200 chart, but the band’s image or at least the image of singer Shaant, has changed. |
We asked him, what’s with the new look? |
“Yeah, that was, again, just a natural progression in which. As you can imagine when we were 17 or 18 year olds and you find your way. I don’t know how to describe that. We wanted the music to match where we were aesthetically. We try not to think too much about that. Really in our promos and stuff we try to look nice. It’s like a family picture. When we’re playing it’s just T-Shirt and Jeans just a good time all around.” [Dave] “You get soaking wet anyway.” [Shaant] “You can’t wear the nice stuff, the button downs… You’re going to wear a button down tonight aren’t you? [Dave] “Yup” [Jeff] “I’ll wear a button down.” [Shaant] “Allright.” |
Cute Is What We Aim For is currently on a headline tour of the U.S.. The first single, Practice Makes Perfect, also made an appearance on a recent episode of MTV’s The Hills. |
