CRUNCHY BLACK LEAVES THREE 6 MAFIA

Three 6 Mafia started out as a group of six rapper sin the mid ’90s and now the group is down to two members after group member Crunchy Black, whose real name is Darnell Carlton, left the group for unspecified reasons. The group’s label, Sony Music, confirmed that Black’s exit was voluntary and that he wasn’t forced out of the group. Remaining members Juicy J and DJ Paul maintain that they haven’t spoken to Black in several months which has fueled speculation that the rapper may be in rehab.

Crunchy Black is the latest person to exit the group. Koopsta Knicca and Gangsta Boo parted ways with the group a few years ago and group member, Lord Infamous, is currently incarcerated.

In related news, Crunchy Black is working on a new album tentatively titled, From Me to You, 1 The Hard Way.
