COULD CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER BE THE NEXT JAMES BOND?

Now that Cedric The Entertainer has super spy on his resume, he is poised to give James Bond some competition.

Cedric The Entertainer got to live out his super spy fantasies in Code Name: The Cleaner as a janitor who becomes a secret agent.

Working with all the gun play and kung fu fighting with the bad guys, Cedric has now got it into his head that he could be the next James Bond.

“I’ve gotten some calls already. People got the early buzz on me. It was like you know Daniel Craig did great, the blue eyes, that worked and all that stuff but if indeed he’s a problem Cedric’s our next Bond. So I’m on deck basically. I’m in the batter’s box if you will.”

Looks like it’ll be a couple of years before Cedric gets his shot at 007 as Daniel Craig is under contract for at least two more Bond films. With Cedric there’s always another comedy to consider.

“I’m a big fan of Eddie Murphy and as a comedian I’d like to have the opportunity to do something like a big comical joint with Ed in it. That would be my idea kind of movie just to do something like that with a lot of fun in it man.”

The timing may not be right to team up with Eddie Murphy just yet who is hot from his Golden Globe for Dreamgirls. Cedric is currently filming Madagascar 2 with another Golden Globe winner Sacha Baron Cohen.
