COMMON HAS STAR STUDDED GUEST LIST

Rapper and actor Common will release his new album, Finding Forever, on July 10th and he recently announced that the album will feature collaborations with D’Angelo, Kanye West, the late J Dilla, Will.I.Am, Bilal, Dwele, and UK pop singer Lily Allen. The rapper expalined, “I want to leave a mark on this earth. By making music and saying what I have to say in my music is one of the ways I will exist forever.”

The first single from the project is “The People,” which was produced by Kanye West. West and Common also worked together on the rapper’s last album, Be. Common explained that they get good results because they challenge each other. The rapper said,

“I’m honored to even work with Kanye. You know just honestly cause he’s a very talented and passionate dude and I love his creativity. So I love working with him and also it’s like you also…. he challenges me and I challenge him. I know that part of that, like him even work, it’s like yo at the same token I know he believes that he’s ghrowing as an artist too when we work together.”

Prior to the release of the album, Common will perform at New York’s Central Park SummerStage on June 20th with Joss Stone and Ryan Shaw.
