COHEED AND CAMBRIA HAVE DUALDISC FOOTAGE

Coheed And Cambria’s Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness is currently in stores, but the album is about to get a facelift.

The album is set to be packaged with a special DVD as part of Sony’s DualDisc series, and drummer Josh Eckerd said that frontman/gutiarist Claudio had been taping the band during their studio sessions for the album, and he thinks fans will be surprised.

“Claud was just putting together the other day, just himself, a kind of a behind-the-scenes footage of when we were making the record. There was some funny stuff and just kind of seeing us in the studio that’s gonna come out, actually before Christmas. I think we’re hoping to have that come out with the disc. And I think that’s another tier. It’s cool to see us in the studio and how things work. People have an idea or they think things work a certain way, and it would shed a little light as to how things really are in the studio for us, and there’s some funny stuff, a more personal side of the band, and I do believe that’s coming out before Christmas as an added DVD with the new record.”

Coheed And Cambria is currently touring Good Apollo…, but the band has been bitten by the hurricane syndrome. They seem to have had hard luck with their dates in the south following hurricane damage caused by Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. YTheir tour wraps up November 23 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
