CIARA EXPLAINS CREATIVE PROCESS

R&B siinger Ciara will release her new album, Ciara: The Evolution, on December 5th. The first single from the project is “Promise.” The album was co-written and co-produced by Ciara with help from Rodney Jerkins, Pharrell Williams, will.i.am, and Lil Jon.

The singer shared how serious she gets when it’s time to write. She said,

“But when I’m in the studio that’s when I turn solely into a writer, you know what I mean? I zone out. Even though I’m writing for myself I still just go into another world. You know like I’m actually writing a record, you know? And hopefully it will be great for whoever, even if I didn’t record the record, I want it to be great so.”

The set is the follow-up to her double platinum 2004 debut, Goodies. rn
