CIARA ENJOYS GIVING BACK

R&B singer Ciara is currently working on her sophomore album. The Atlanta-based singer picked up her first Grammy Award last week in the best short form music video category for “Lose Control” by Missy Elliott featuring Ciara and Fat Man Scoop.

When she isn’t busy creating hits or hanging out with her boyfriend, Bow Wow, Ciara enjoys helping young aspiring artists. She said,

“You know it’s called, I can never get this right, the Artist Empowerment Coalition, and I’m so happy to be a part of that because what we do is we help teach other young men and women, young girls and boys, you know that aspire to do what we do. We kinda of give them knowledge about what’s going on. I’ve learned so much within my year. I’ve actually been doing this for like six years now. But within the time that I’ve been doing it, I’ve learned so much so I’m a part of that. Also I do want to eventually take dance camps around and just like teach kids that aspire to dance some of the routines from my videos and just interact with them and have fun cause I strongly believe that dance is something that everybody loves. Even if you can’t get the rhythm, I can help you get the rhythm so I’m looking forward to that.”
