CHRISTINA MILIAN AUCTIONS OFF CLOTHES FOR CHARITY
R&B singer Christina Milian is doing her part to help underprivileged people. The singer is auctioning off personal items including a selection of stage costumes to raise money for charity. Milian explained on her MySpace page, “The money from the sales will be going to various charities. My mother and I find this a much easier way to have a clear out because in the past we have not been able to donate certain pieces because they are not age appropriate for most charities we donate to or they are stage costumes.” |
Christina, who is selling off her couture under the screen name “beatdownprincess,” still lives at home with her mom. Although she’s enjoying her romance with producer Dre of the Cool & Dre team, she doesn’t plan on moving out anytime soon. |
“It all goes together, the song writer and the performer. When I ‘m writing a song, I think about my performance even if I’m writing it for somebody else. I look at what overall I think the video is gonna look like visual. So it’s kinda like all together it’s like a movie. You know you can’t have a movie without a writer.” |
Milian’s musical career is onhold after she was dropped by Def Jam Records earlier this year. The singer, who plans to write for other people in the meantime, shared that writing a song is like making a movie. She said, |
