CHRIS BROWN SAYS A GRAMMY WOULD BE ICING ON THE CA

Chris Brown says winning a Grammy would make him official.

R&B singer Chris Brown was recently nominated for Grammy Awards in the best new artist and best contemporary R&B album catgories. The singer explaiend the importance of winning a Grammy. He said,

Brown is currently working on his sophomore album with Philadelphia-based producers Dre & Vidal who in the past have crafted hits for Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Mary J. Blige and others.

“The Grammys is the pinnacle of your career. They make and break you, you know what I’m sayin’? The Grammys, they signifiy who you are. If you get a Grammy, that’s your stamp. You good for right now, you know what I’m sayin’?”

Next month, Brown will make his big screen debut in the movie, Stomp The Yard. The film, which also stars Ne-Yo, Sammie, Laz Alonso, Brian White, and Robin Thicke, chronicles a new college student’s transition into campus life and his eventual decision to join a fraternity.
