CHINGY HOOKS UP WITH AMERIE FOR NEW SINGLE

Chingy and Amerie hook up for new single and video….

Chingy, who is back with Ludacris and Disturing Tha Peace, will release his new album, Hate It or Love It, on December 18th on Def Jam Records. The first single and video from the project, “Fly Like Me” featuring Amerie, is slated to hit urban video and radio outlets this week. The album features guest appearances by Ludacris, Bobby Valentino, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, and Anthony Hamilton with production by Khao and L.T. Moe.

In related news, Amerie, who is of Korean and African American descent, shared her thoughts on representing so many different people. She said,

“It’s funny cause I always meet a lot of people here, Korean Americans who are really big fans. Also I just recently did my first really major promo in Korea. All the newspaper from the nation were there. It was great cause my first international single is ‘Take Control’ and that was like the biggest song in the whole nation in Korea which was really, really cool. And I found out something that I didn’t know. I think I’m the first artist of Korea descent to be in the Billboard Top Ten which they thought was really, really, great. So it always great to be representing for people from all walks whether it’s young women, females, young black women, young Asian women. Just to be a voice and to represent so many people is really wonderful.”
