CHARLIE WILSON AND FRANKIE BEVERLY FEUDING

Charlie Wilson and Frankie Beverly have had an ongoing rivalry for years and according to Wilson’s camp Beverly got Wilson dropped from two upcoming gigs in Washington, DC. The former Gap Band frontman, who just released a new album titled, Charlie, Last Name Wilson, was scheduled to open for Frankie Beverly & Maze at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., on November 25th and 26th, but the singer got bumped from the show after the promoter got a call from Beverly.

Wilson’s manager said in a released statement, “It is obvious the last thing Frankie Beverly wanted to do was work harder than he has too after Charlie Wilson has gotten done burning rubber and dropping bombs on the crowd with Charlie’s electrifying show.

Wilson’s new album features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Twista, Timberlake, and Will.I.Am.
