CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER, CODE NAME: STUNT COORDINATOR

Cedric The Entertainer shows off his comedic skills and stunt choreography in Code Name: The Cleaner.

Cedric The Entertainer is best known for his family comedies but in Code Name: The Cleaner he gets to show off another facet of his many talents, being funny and kicking butt.

In the action comedy Cedric plays a janitor who gets involved with an FBI sting for a stolen computer chip and before you know it he’s kung fu fighting. Cedric is proud to say he does all his own fight choreography.

“A lot of people don’t know that I’m also Cedric The Entertainer stunt coordinator. I’m just trained in so many things; Tai Kwan Do, I don’t know, karate, jujitsu, shoezitzu, ezuzu, and costazu. So a lot of those things, it’s in the hands. It’s in the hands first where it all starts. I’m a top hand fighter. I like to slap box, even from here. Bop!”

On the set of Code Name: The Cleaner Cedric took a break to illustrate exactly how he puts his moves together.

“It starts there but then I add flips. I add jump kicks. There is tuck and roll with the chin, the chin down. You tuck and roll, you flip and come back up. These guys are making me laugh but this is real life. For me this is serious. This is what I do. I do comedy and I stunt coordinate.”

Cedric is not only a fighter; he’s also a lover, showing off his one-two punch with his female co-stars Lucy Liu and Nicollette Sheridan.
