CASSIDY FREE FROM LOCK DOWN
After eight months behind prison, Philadelphia rapper Cassidy, was released from Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility a free man. According to his label, Cassidy is now on parole for an unspecified period. He was found guilty of two counts of aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime in the April 15 shooting of 22-year old Desmond Hawkins. |
The rapper released a statement in January saying, “I am eager to resume my career as a recording artist, writer and performer, I am also eager to be reunited with my family, friends and fans.” |
Cassidy’s first move after his release is unknown. |
