C SIDE INK DEAL WITH KOCH RECORDS FOR DEBUT ALBUM
C-side ink deal with Koch Records to release debut…. |
After bursting onto the music scene last year with their hit, “MySpace Freak” featuring Jazze Pha, Atlanta-based trio, C-Side, will now release their debut album early next year independently. The group’s label 1720 Entertainment has entered into a distribution agreement with Koch Records. In advance of the album, C-Side will release a new single, “Boyfriend/Girlfriend” as well as an EP also titled “Boyfriend/Girlfriend” digitally through iTunes. |
The group’s Kenny Kold and Bo-Q explained what fans can expect from the debut effort. They said, |
“When you check out that C-Side album, you can expect hits from track one to the end of the CD. All they way through, all the way through. We got everyday music. See we the type of group that take everyday things, stuff that you see and that you overlook, we turn into an anthem. Something as simple as brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth, you know me I got on some fresh new drawers, you understand me? You know everybody dapper, you knwo what I’m sayin’, so we always fresh like new drawers. And everybody can relate to being broke cause if you ever been broke or you hate being poor, we got something for you on the album, you know what I mean? Every track is something to hold on to.” |
In related news, Kenny Kold has been keeping busy as a producer. He’s produced songs for Ludacris, T.I., Lil Mama, and Dem Franchize Boyz. |
