C SIDE DECIDES TO SWITCH SINGLES
Atlanta-based rap trio C-Side struck it big late last year with their breakthrough hit, “Myspace Freak” featuring Jazze Pha. The group will release their self-titled debut album in August. Fans may be wondering why the group hasn’t release a follow-up to the smash yet after announcing that their new single and video, ‘Fresh Like New Draws,” would be released in April. According to the group’s label, the delay was caused by the group’s decision to switch directions and they’re currently looking for a second single with more of a universal sound. |
Group member and producer Kenny Kold explained the group’s sound. He said, |
“I was behind a lot of production in the crunk era and the snap era. You know you can go Google the discography. We’ve been putting in work like I said behind the boards for a minute. You can’t categorize us in either of those two categories. We make good music and that’s just it. That’s it period.” |
