BUSTA RHYMES TO BRING BALANCE TO PROJEKT REV
Busta Rhymes is set to tour with Linkin Park on their Projekt Revolution, and both shared with us that it’s a win-win. |
Busta Rhymes not only recorded a song with Linkin Park titled “We Made It,” he’ll also be featured on the Projekt Revolution tour, which kicks off today, July 16, in Mansfield, Massachusetts. He’s out supporting his album Blessed. |
We spoke to Busta about his excitement about working with Linkin Park. |
“So when it came through for me it was like, ‘Damn, I got the record. Not only do I have the record, I’m the first guy to get an official Linkin Park collaboration. I’m going to be able to perform my song with Linkin Park. This is like, I really wanted that specific thing to happen, and it happens so I’m in one of my most amazing spaces.” |
Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington said that Rhymes brings balance to Projekt Revolution. |
“You know with the addition of Busta it feels like now we’ve truly accomplished what Projekt Revolution was started out to be. We want to bring all these different music genres together, and we love hip-hop. That was the one element that was missing from this year’s Projekt Rev. I think that Busta will not only fill that spot with grace and do a really good job performing live, I think that everyone will be engaged because he’s such an engaging personality and his music is so unique and so good.” |
Projekt Revolution also features Armor For Sleep, Chris Cornell, Atreyu, 10 Years and others. It will wrap up August 24th in Woodlands, Texas. |
