Rapper Bun B is one-half of UGK and following the incarceration of his partner Pimp C, the rapper was forced to pursue a solo career. It paid off as his solo debut, Trill, entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at Number Six after selling 117,000 copies its first week in stores. |

“Yeah with Pimp being gone and me having to, you know, lead the charge to a certain extent, by due process by me being on more songs and appearing in more videos when the light comes, it comes on me. It’s very important that my fanbase and the people that I respect and those that listen to my music, it’s very important that they not get anything misconstrued or that the wrong message is sent out.
