Grammy Award winners Bone Thugs-N-Harmony recently completed production on a new movie titled, I Tried, which borrows its name from the group’s last single, “I Tried” featuring Akon. The movie chronicles what would have happened to the group if they were never discovered by Eazy E. The project was directed by Rich Newey who directed the group’s video for “Home” featuring Phil Collins. Newey said, “Bone is the real deal – both in talent and spirit, their music has a soul and their track record speaks for itself. I was honored to be a part of this film, to be a part of history.” |
The film stars Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, Swizz Beatz, Chris Mulkey, and The Wire’s Hassan Johnson. |
“Oh yeah we will be on tour. We been touring like ever since…We haven’t had an album out in three years but we still been touring. We’ve been doing shows ever since then and we will be going back out.” |
In related news, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has also launched a new watch collection titled, The Bones Watch, in conjunction with Freeze Watches. Customers will be able to choose from two different models, the .40 Carat watch at $399 or the 2.75 Carat watch for $1,299. |
