BON JOVI LOST HIGHWAY DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE

Bon Jovi’s new album, Lost Highway, will debut at Number One this week, and Jon Bon talks fans and record sales.

Bon Jovi’s new album, Lost Highway, might just be their most country music leaning album, and it’s good enough to debut at Number One on the Billboard 200 album chart. According to Hits Magazine, the record is estimated to have sold just over 285,000 copies.

Bon Jovi has always counted on their fans with critics not always singing their praises. In an interview conducted a while back, Jon Bon Jovi talked about fans and their huge amount of catalog record sales worldwide.

“They’re the reason why you’re able to continue to do it. You know when you get a record deal you dream your record going vinyl — forget about gold platinum, twenty years, 100 million albums. You never dream of such things. The absurdity is beyond words. You’re ready for the straight jacket.”

Bon Jovi guitarist Ritchie Sambora checked himself into rehab, and he’s trying to find his way back sober. The band has two gigs for July scheduled, Milwaukee’s Summerfest and the July 7 Live Earth show.
