BOBBY VALENTINO PUSHES BACK RELEASE SOPHOMORE ALBUM
R&B singer Bobby Valentino has gotten into the spirit of the holidays. The Atlanta native has adopted 15 senior citizens and their families and has agreed to personally deliver vegetable baskets and turkeys to them on Friday, December 1st. Valentino will be handing off the goodies to select residents of the Harriet E. Darnell Multi-Purpose Center, all of whom are community gardeners for the Atlanta Urban Gardening Program, a group headed by the singer’s father, Bobby Wilson. |
As for his sophomore album, Special Occasion, the album is now due out on February 13th. The first single from the project is ‘Turn The Page.” Valentino explained, |
“This song, ‘Turn The Page,’ man, this is like a guaranteed just hit record. Like when I first heard it, I’m executive producing on this album right here. And I went outside of the box, went outside of me having to write all my songs. I wanted to hear how other people view me as an artist. When I heard this record, I was like, ‘This is a hit record. This is me all day.'” |
Special Occasion features the production by Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, Tim & Bob, Bryan Cox, and others. |
