BLACKALICIOUS ADDICTED TO CREATING

Blackalicious, which is made up of Gift Of Gab and Chief Xcel, released their third album, The Craft, in September. The album features guest appearances by Floetry, George Clinton, Ledisi, Lateef, Lyrics Born, Life Savas, Pigeon John, Kween, and Larry Saunders.

Although the group is still promoting the set, they are already looking forward to future projects including the follow-up to Gift of Gab’s solo debut, 4th Dimensional Rocketships Going Up. The rapper explained,

“Definitely. Definitely I mean we’re prolific. You know we’re always constantly creating. You know we’ve already started talking about the next Blackalicious record you know. I’m definitely in the works of working on another Gift of Gab solo record sometime in next year, year and a half, another Blackalicious record. I know X has several projects that he’s got in the mix. I think we’re addicted to creating which is a good addiction, you know what I mean?”
