BLACK SABBATH FINAL SHOW HAS LOTS OF QUESTIONS

Black Sabbath have announced plans to do one final tour, but there are a few factors at play dealing with Tony Iommi and original drummer Bill Ward. November 22, the second day of Ozzfest Japan, in Tokyo will likely be the last show for the fathers of heavy metal. There are a few things that put the date in jeopardy, the first of which is the ongoing chemotherapy for Tony Iommi. The Black Sabbath camp is keeping everything very secretive as far as his health is concerned, but there are thoughts he may not be healthy enough for the show.

Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, revealed the news in a video.

Secondly, original drummer Bill Ward is still alive and ticking. The skin basher did not participate in the last Black Sabbath album and tour cycle do to what has been deemed a contract dispute. There is no word if things can be worked out in time for the November 22 show, or if Ward is even interested at this point.

While this is the end of Black Sabbath in concert, the group is slated to record a new album later this year.
