Black Rob was sentenced to seven years last week for robbing a hotel room in November 2004. The Harlem rapper was caught on tape entering an Upper West Side Hotel and stealing $6,000 in jewelry and $300 in cash. |

He was found guilty a year later and was expected to turn himself in January 24 to begin his two to six year sentence. |

Rob reached platinum success in 2000 with his first album “Life Story” and the hit single “Whoa”. |
